24th Annual  Scholarship

​Chapter 800 will be awarding $1,000 scholarships this year to eligible high school seniors of chapter members. If your son/daughter /grandchild /niece I nephew plan to further ucation, then please take advantage of this opportunity.
Here are the rules of the contest:

Theme:  "What are the major misconceptions of the Vietnam War?”

(Please explain in your own words and adhere to this theme.)

Length of essay:  Minimum of 400 words, maximum of 500 words

 

Qualifications:

Open to all high school seniors
Must be the son I daughter I grandchild I niece I nephew of a chapter

member /deceased member in good standing. (Membership will be verified.)

Student plans entry into college or trade school this year.

 

Time frame:  Essay must be in possession of chapter by Memorial Day 2024 (May 27th

Checks will be made out to the school and be presented to the winning students during theJune meeting. All entries are final and will be judged by the scholarship committee.

Essays must be typed with your name, phone number, relative in chapter and school that you will be attending.
